January '25 Newsletter!

It's been awhile since I have released a newsletter. Things have been really busy and there hasn't been much done on the writing side of it. My goal is to change that at the start of 2026. There are quite a few projects under work right now including a relase of an anthology that puts all the short stories for Beloved Universe into one place, a few more horror books, and the continuation of my Star Traveler series.

Wow. It has been a long time since I've written anything and sent out this newsletter. There has been a lot going on in my life and I haven't really been able to focus on anything writing wise for awhile. I have been able to release a short story here and there but there really isn't much to report.

March '25 Newsletter!

2025. Not only how did this happen? Where the hell have I been?  I'm just still trying to get over the fact that 2024 just vanished as fast as it did. If anything, 2024 was a year filled with turmoil though it had its good moments. This year I am making a concerted effort to be more productive. I mean, I didn't do so well with the newsletter but that's okay. I'm not big on New Year resolutions because that makes you feel forced into meeting an unmeetable goal. What I'm doing is telling myself that if I want to better myself, I need to put in the effort. So, this year I plan to not only do that for my on stories but finally get my pseudonym Arthur Holmes off the ground and release more adult oriented stories and genres. I'll keep you up to date! 

My Favorite Nightmares

The Second book in the Nightmare Series continues with My Favorite Nightmares. Oliver Fairchild has returned to the mortal world but is not happy about it. Things did not go well and if he was honest, it went really bad. Now at home with his parents, Oliver thinks things could never get better until a certain succubus returns to bring him back. Oliver finds himself returning to the Breach Between to help the Bone Lord save his lands from the other Dread Lords, the threat of magical sickness, and the return of the god killing monsters known as the Blight Twins. Will his missing of adventure get him killed this time?

My good friend David Graham is releasing his first book! A scifi adventure based in a world of his creating! I have had the chance to read it ahead of time and if you like a good adventure that expands like Star Wars with the thoughtful commentary of Star Trek, I highly recommend this book! November '24 Newsletter!

The last month of the year and I really don't have much to say or add. The holidays have kept me from really doing anything major. I was able to release some work but 2025 is going to be a different story! I've got plans for all sorts of stories, especially the ones that I have been working on to share! I'll see you all in the next year!

November '24 Newsletter!

I really don't know how I feel about how quickly time is passing. We are already in the last quarter of the year 2024. It is probably because of how wild the world has been with all the international troubles and how the US Election went. It sometimes makes me just want to hunker down and ignore it all. Anyhoo, The month of November has been busy and I have been able to get a lot of stuff done. Here is what i've been doing for the last month!

October '24 Newsletter!

Didn't...didn't I just release one of these? Where the heck is the time going? Well, if you haven't figured it out, spooky season is here. The ghosts are planning to come out and your favorite monsters are just polishing their claws an scrubbing their skins to a nice sheen (except for the zombies. It keeps falling off). What do I have in store for you today? Well! We have more monster goodness! 

Beloved Maid #9: Lost 

I'm happy to report that the 9th issue of Beloved Maid has started! With twelve issues planned, there are only three more left! Aevina, Tivin, and Larry have to find a way to escape the planet before Lord Baneth gets them!

September '24 Newsletter!

I believe it was around this time that I had sat down while on a cruise ship and decided that I was going to take my indie author career seriously. For the year, it has been a wild ride trying to find a balance in getting projects done while not burning myself out. I'm actually happy with this year and what I have been able to get out. I bunch of horror stories, anthology, a bunch of webcomics and a few scifi stories. It's been a good year!

My goal now is to sit down, plan out this next year and get things started! Thanks so much for all your support!

Beloved Maid #9 "Loss" Has Begun!

It feels like it was only last month when I announced that issue 8 had been released. Now we're on issue 9! The Beloved Maid story is rapidly coming to an end with only three more issues remaining! This one is going to be interesting as we are getting towards the darkest moment! (Warning: Nudity & Language)

Beloved Chains Issue 4 Resumes!

After a year's hiatus, the artist for Beloved Chains is working to finish the last issue before our new artist takes over for issue 5! The script is already written and ready to go so there will be more Maevin and Henry to come! (Warning: Nudity & Language)

I am working on some new tropey stuff. I have come to love the hackey, trope laden stories of the old writers and I have found a thriving group online. Because of the works being much different than the usual fare that I write, I plan to create a pseudonym so people do not get surprised with the new stories. It's' a lot nicer that way in my opinion. Seraphim & Succubus #1 is in the editing stage and we got two of the illustrations done! I'm hoping to release this one after Christmas!

August '24 Newsletter!

When I sat down to finally start putting together what I wanted to put in this newsletter, I looked at the date and saw that it was already August! How the heck did we get through 2024 so fast? It felt like only yesterday that I was laying out the plan of what I wanted to do this year and it’s almost over?

Well, that means I must speed up on a few things to make sure I get somewhere close to my planned release schedule. (That did not survive May).

Not very much new to report in this newsletter except that I appreciate everyone who still takes the time to read my work and see what is going on! July Smashwords sale was nice, a lot of new people downloaded books so hopefully they will stay around for more!

Now on to the report!

• The new Frank Jones novella (and a few new short stories) are still in the works. The goal to release Highway 99 is still set for October of this year!
• I have an idea percolating around to do a bit of delving into the urban legend of The Backrooms. More to come on that!

Beloved Universe

• Beloved Maid continued to be well received with page releases of Issue 8. Readers got to learn about the truth about Princess Aevina's past including why she and her sister don't get along. Issue 9's script has been written and the artist has started on it!
• A new research paper by the Terran Science Directorate became digitally available entitled The Gorgon Parasites: A Study of Their Biology and Evolutionary Origins
• The artist behind Beloved Chains continues to work through family and health issues which means this flagship comic is still on hiatus.

Seraphim & Succubus

• This new light novel series that I have been working on is progressing nicely! The first draft of the book has been completed at a whopping 38k words and the art for it is coming well! I'm hoping for a January 2025 release of this series I have enjoyed writing!

June '24 Newsletter!

Wow. It has taken this long to get a newsletter out? Yeah. The system I was using kinda exploded so I had to rebuild the whole newsletter thing on my own.
